Parent Information

Parents are the lifeline of the Pack.  Scouting requires parental involvement at all stages to ensure each scout has a safe and fun experience.  Parents are encouraged to participate in all Pack and Den activities, including meetings.  We are always in need of volunteers to assist the Pack Committee in both official and unofficial roles. Please check with your Den Leader or any other leader at a Pack Meeting for volunteer opportunities.

Youth Protection Training

All parents and guardians involved in Cub Scouts are required to take the Youth Protection Training through my.scouting.org. Parents will need to create an account and complete the training in order to best protect our youth from bullying and abuse.

Of course, there is an app for that:

Apple Store - MyScouting

Google Play - MyScouting

Scoutbook

Once you have my.scouting.org credentials to log in AND your scout is in the system, you will be able to access Scoutbook with the same log in credentials. In Scoutbook you will be able to see your scout's progress, log in activities such as requirements, ranks, awards, hikes, and camping trips.

There is also a Scoutbook App:

Apple Store - Scouting

Google Play - Scouting

Costs

Pack 210 fundraises every year in order to support adventures for our scouts. With fundraising efforts in full gear we are able to cover some of the dues associated with being in the scouting program. Please contact the Cubmaster or Committee Chair for more information on yearly dues to be part of the program.

Scout Uniforms

Uniforms and other scouting gear are available at the online Scout Store and locally at the Southwest Florida Council Shop in Ft. Myers, FL and the National Scout Shop. Uniforms are NOT required but highly encouraged.
